SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES:
* Routine analytical testing of internally submitted samples
* Sample preparation and disposition
* Responsible for following required instrument calibration and maintenance procedures
* Responsible for maintaining the calibration files as a requirement of our ISO 9001 Certification
* Liaising with internal customer and Technical Specialists regarding submitted samples and analysis results
* Maintaining documentation and files for all relevant analytical procedures and results
* Identifying ways to improve and recommend changes to internal processes where necessary
QUALIFICATIONS:
* B.Sc. Chemistry
* Superior analytical skills combined with initiative, sound judgment, flexibility, research, and decision-making competence
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office
