Okay here's my question to the Honda gurus out there:
Would 92 Prelude springs fit on a 97 Integra?? I know the struts themselves won't, but the springs look pretty similar (in shape that is). And if they fit physically, is the spring rate enough to hold up the Teg??
:dunno: :duh:
Thanks all.....

I'm not sure if it will fit, but even if it does, it won't be a good ride I don't think. Are they stock springs or aftermarket springs? I think either way, since it is made for a Prelude (which is a couple hundred lbs heavier than a teg), the handling characteristics will differ, and ride height may also be different. And I don't know about the weight balance (or whatever its called), but I'm sure its different from car to car, and since the springs are made for a lude, it won't be the same on a Teg. I would suggest going with a spring that's made for a Teg.

It'a a set of lowering springs/stock struts for a 92 Lude.... they're sitting in a box @ my friend's shop. When I pulled my wheels off to match up the struts, they weren't the same. But I actually pulled out my strut assys. and compared the springs and they looked similar... The springs are mine for free if I can use them, and if they'll drop my car nicely, I'll be happy.....:dunno:

I want that 'stuffed' look now... Maybe I'll just swap 'em in like Jeff said and go from there. At least I'll have my stock springs if I don't like the other ones, right?? :woot:

It would fit but it wouldnt work very well, the spring ratings are totally different for each vehicle ,. wouldnt recommend it

Hey, cocoa, did u do ur timing today? I gave mine a super tight valve adjustment, soooooo much better, not burning barley at all now too! Bonus, Intakes are set at .003, .004 will not fit, exhuast is at .006, .007 will not fit. That is as tight as it gets.....but I still need to do my timing, I spent all day and night painting the supra so I never got around to it tho....
