Who lives here at Sasso, there must be a few.

Tonight there was a white BMW 325i with a beyond sticker on the windshield, there are also a few other nice cars around the building that could possibly be beyonders.

I just moved in this month, and despite the ongoing construction, it has been pretty good so far.

I live on the 5th floor, and my unit is north east facing.
My living room windows open up to a view of the dome, and my hugeass balcony  looks over at downtown.

Anyone want to get together to play poker someday? :burnout:

I would love to live at Sasso. That place looks so awesome.

What'd the traffic noise and stuff like? Especially on nights of Flames games?

Off my balcony, and out my living room windows..

Place is awesome at night with everything lit up.

Traffic is not bad at all, with the exception of flames games when any place you could park a car (even non parking spots) is full. haha.

They are doing construction on the other tower, and it is fairly noisy weekday mornings, but I'm used to it.

During flames games there are literally 1000s of people that walk past the building out front, pretty cool actually.

a lot of people are going to be losing their views on the lower floors, but we'll enjoy it while we can.

for those that live in Condos, how do you 'stand' living in there? I took a tour of the Sasso units last year because I was curious what made 800sq.ft. worth like 350K and damn, I couldn't believe how tight it was (I've never been in a condo before, so wasn't certain what to expect)......I need atleast 4000sqft to be comfortable (heh), don't know how people could enjoy such tight confines. Each to their own I guess *shrug*

adamc

well ours is like 1000sq ft or something.

I'm 23, without a family, and I'm away for work most of the time.

When I'm in town, I'm at the bar
So most of the time I'm just here to sleep

Have minimal furniture, couches, bigscreen, that's about it.
:werd:

But yeah, some people that have more than 1 person in units that are even smaller than this one, yikes.

Imagine how condo owners must feel after reading your post, suddenly realizing how much more comfortable they would have been in a 4000sq.ft. house as opposed to their condo.
Thanks for sharing, it came as somewhat of a revelation to myself, as I am sure it did to others.

Hehe... Was reading today that in 1950s the average US house size was 950 sq feet and now its over 2400 sq feet. And they were raising families of 4 in that space back then. One thing you learn real quick in a condo situation (fees) is just how much it costs to occupy a space with yourself and all your crap.

Heating, cooling, lighting, furnishing, and maintaining 4000 square feet (and the outside walls, roofing and foundation) is not as much fun as it sounds like. Personally I dream of a 1600 sq foot home in Varsity Estates over 4000 in a less tree'd farther flung suburb. What would it cost to furnish that much space with solid wood furniture (no Zellers)?

As they say, to each their own though. If you have the money (not just credit) and you want the MTV Cribs lifestyle then enjoy...
