I just bought a 95 maxima for a few months.
I love the car.
There's one thing that confuses me. The climate control is automatic. The weird thing is, doesnt matter how cold it is or hot,
the fan never switch to the upper half. Always at the leg, unless you change the mode manually. Is it because my upper sensor is broken? or is it the way maxima is suppose to be?

Only the temperature is automatic. You still control where the air goes.

On my Maxima If you pushed auto on Hot it would put it on your feet and if you pushe cold it would put it on the defrost vents, and the fan would just go up and down on it!

Yours is older then mine was a 99 it might be diff. but I wouldn't be too worried about it the auto mode is really only supposed to keef the car a set temp it just gets to temp faster if the fan is directed properly
