Position Overview:
Our Calgary office is looking for an energetic individual to join our Purchasing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a knack for building and maintaining internal client and vendor relationships and an aptitude towards creativity and design.
The Candidate will be able to:
• Develop and design network and server solutions on paper
• Quote hardware and software products
• Purchase hardware and software
• Negotiate prices with vendors
• Identify areas to increase client’s IT Investments
The Candidate must demonstrate the following:
• 2 to 4 years of experience in a corporate inside sales and/or purchasing technology position
• Strong organizational, analytical, and research skills
• Effective proven communication skills (both written and oral)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple demands and changing priorities
• Ability to work both independently and as a team
