I have an '82 Cressida for sale. I just bought it a few months ago for my wife's cousin and she has since decided that she doesn't want it. Anyway, I have put a ton of time and money into it and I am looking to recover some of what I put into it. This car would make an awesome winter car. Especially since I just put a couple of winter tires on the rear.

1982 Toyota Cressida
Champagne Brown
5ME 2.8L I-6 engine
113,000 mi (~182,000 kms)

Power windows, power locks, sunroof
Compression ~150 psi in all 6 cylinders
valves adjusted
timing chain tensioner cleaned and adjusted
alignment done
Parts replaced:
wires
cap/rotor
spark plugs
air filter
oil filter
transmission filter
ALL fluids
rear end pinion seal
water pump
front window motors
exhaust/muffler
rear tires - Hakkepelita winters
The only bad things about this car is that it burns a little bit of oil. Because the compression is so good I believe that the valve seals are to blame here so, in my opinion, the motor really isn't too bad.
There is also a little bit of rust on the body. It isn't that visible unless you really look but the rear inner fenders do have holes.
Other than that this car is in really good shape.
