So today I removed the sunroof deflector off of my car and after I saw that it had left some kind of dirt marks from where it had been originally. I took the car out to the carwash about 20 minutes later and washed it down thoroughly (pity though because thats the time it started to pour down hard in the city :thumbsdow). So the problem is that even after the wash, there was still that grime mark left around the outer edge of my sunroof window... it wasn't as dark as before but it was still there. I even tried to scrub it off with a cloth but that didn't work either. I asked my friend and he said that it could be silicone or something.. can you guys recommend anything to me that could get this off of my car?

the dark grime... try using a professional autobody degreaser and dirt remover. then a hardy polish and blend should do the trick

You could always try Bug & Tar remover or WD40, WD40 works great for stuff like that.

if its not silicone or anything like that, try claybarring it.

I would try a clay bar. You can get it at canadian tire or many other places.
