BTW, one more useless post in this thread and you wont be posting in any threads anymore

What exactly qualifies as a useless post? Facts, ie stats, are useless? Comments based on those stats are useless? So that would make all those posts during flames games that update the score useless as well? Technically providing the same information, so what gives?

And since you brought up the subject of banning lets quickly review the rules shall we?

http://forums.beyond.ca/articles.php?action=data&item=1&s=

General Forum Rules
1. Personal Attacks will NOT be tolerated
2. No racist, sexist, hateful, threatening, obscene, or otherwise rude remarks
3. Posting is a privilege, and not your right.
4. "Vigilante Moderating" will not be tolerated
5. Replying to offensive/flammatory posts makes you just as guilty
6. If you have nothing to contribute to a discussion, don't post
7. Do not cross-post threads. One thread is enough
8. The "Ask Leo" forum is mostly unmoderated. Offensive content may be found in there, read at your own risk.
9. Don't be annoying, respect your fellow members. Annoying everyone is enough of a reason to get yourself banned.
10. Discussion of piracy, and other illegal activities will not be tolerated

Now obviously I could be banned based on #9, but while participating in that thread several other members broke rules 1, 2, 5, and 6. Yet no threat of being banned for them, why is that? So would that make you, 88CRX, guilty of rule 4?

I can understand the odd post in the Flames thread with your BS but get real, your "annoying" people with your sarcastic posts. Nobody in that thread wants to read your same shit every other day, go post it up elsewhere as your just causing shit and sooner or later its going to hit the fan.

Go make a "i hate the flames" thread and keep your posts in there

"Vigilante Moderating", as I understand it, is when regular users act like moderators and attempt in some way to enforce the rules on their own. Since 88CRX is a moderator, this rule does not apply to him.

I read some of your posts in that thread, and there was little if any "useful information." You went into that thread with the sole intent of stirring up shit, and now you're complaining when somebody calls you on it.

One of the rules is that posting is a privalege, not a right. If you choose to abuse that privalege by trying to incite arguments/flamewars, then the moderating staff will do what they feel is neccessary.

So, here's a suggestion. How about just... not posting in that thread anymore? Making fun of Flames fans can't be so important you'd risk getting banned over it, is it? I'm sure this seems like a personal affront/insult to you right now, but it's really just a rather silly argument that can be avoided quite easily.

Beyond is all about moderators doing whatever they want haha...

With that said, 88CRX..dude you can't really ban 5.9 R/T, he is OG!

Haha so true. If he was posting about mullets or talking about other useless crap like arrests on Whyte which have nothing to do with the Oilers themselves then there would be no problem. I also laugh at the suggestion that he make a thread about how he hates the flames because you know you (88CRX) would be the first to shut that thread and ban his ass. Plain and simple there are others that post useless crap in the Oilers thread all the time that won't get any warnings because plain and simple this is a Calgary based forum.

J's Racing contribution to the thread I think qualifies greatly.

3 days after the last poster and all he has to add is an emotion, GREAT contribution.
