Damn!!!! They cleaned house!!! Clearly there was no morale in the locker room and way too much drama. Hopefully they can turn things around while its early in the season.

The Flames need to do something now. I'm not a fan of Playfair at all.

I don't think they would make a change in either...Both teams have good players..i just believe a slow start

I've been skeptical about Playfair. I think there's alot of tension/frustration in the locker room.

I like McCarty...and he may not provide the offense that we want...but Playfair is shafting him on ice time. Grinders Matter!!!

Playfair is a good coach who's worked his way up from coaching in St John's. Give him time. Calgary has always been a slow start team anyways. Besides, it's entirely way to soon to be considering axing a new coach that fast.

I always hated Clarke from way back so I'm glad he's gone.

If the Flames were winning you would all say he was a great coach.
Look at other reasons than coaching for slumping teams.
