Hey is there any difference in the sound if a sub is facing outwards or inwards in a box, if so what is the difference, one of my buddy's told be outwards gives better sound but inwards is just louder

It depends on what kind of vehicle you have. Usually facing towards the rear will be the loudest while in hatchbacks and suvs people may want to face them upwards.

nope its a load in or out its the same. we did some tests at school and it was like within 0.5DB but humans can only hear 3db changes so. in or out its all style

uhh note the biggest difference it has is if you have a small box it can drasticly change the sound cuz the size in the box changes.

Yeah, its just some subs are flashy, so people stick them out to look at them, But yes, if you have a small box and need some more space, by flipping the subs, it frees up space in the box that the sub body would have been taking up...
