blizzak tires

I'm recently widowed-
bought a 1999 Buick Century last year-have been offered 4 Blizzak tires for $500.
22560R16 from a 2000-Buick Century Regal.
Mechanic said my car has only five poles/rims (?) and these tires would have six.
He thinks (?)and they would not fit
He sounded bored with the whole conversation.
Is this true?
Please don't think i'm putting anyone on-
I really don't know.
Please help!

Find another mechanic. Just look and see if the size of your tires match the size of the blizzaks. It's written on the side wall of the tire. If it's the same you're good to go.

the mechanic might be talking about the bolt pattern on your wheels, they should be the same on both cars if im not mistaken, bu if its just tires you bought, check the stamp on the side, 2256016 is a very common size for mid-full sized gm cars/
