Does anyone know of a good German restaruant in Calgary. i use to work at a good one in Edmonton called Barb and Ernies when i was young. They have awesome snitzels(sp?) and stuffed pork chops. i have been graving German food since i seen Ernie on tv last week.

i don't know about German, but there is a hungarian restaurant called Jonas' that has really good schnitzels

One of the best German restaurants in the Calgary area is the Bavarian Inn, the only problem is it is in Bragg Creek. The chef is from South Germany. Trust me this food is excellent (btw I'm German).

Get the elk! :thumbsup:

I have recommended this restaurant many times. Charlie, the chef there is an awsome guy. Food is really good. schnitzel ftw

Is Heidelberg Haus a restaurant or a private club? I think i mistankenly went there once when i was looking for the Toad and Turtle.

The restaurant is open to the public unless it is booked for a private function.
