The Game Leaves Aftermath!?!?

Friday ,28th July 2006

It is rumoured that ‘Compton’s Most Wanted’ aka The Game has left Aftermath Records.

A simple logo change on Chuck’s website has signified that the rumours could indeed be fact. The replacement of the Aftermath logo with a Geffen one has convinced many that the Game has officially moved. Apparently the rapper has signed a five album deal with Geffen Records for an undisclosed sum as the rapper didn’t want to release his next LP under Aftermath.

While it was believed that the Game was to remain on Aftermath as Dr Dre was to produce his next album The Doctor’s Advocate, it seems this is no longer case. While Dr Dre is still going to play a main role in producing his album as their still friends we can assume that his move is more to do with the feud between him and Mr 50 Cent which began in 2005.

While the two were commended for publicly ending their beef, G-Unit’s latest mixtape G-Unit Radio Part 21 - whose cover featured a certain picture of ‘The Game’ dressed as a stripper, confirmed that the feud is in fact still raging. Although Game isn’t too bothered about the picture telling press, ‘they got me dressed like I stripper on their new mixtape, I think I look kinda cute…’

The Game’s album features appearances form Mary J Blige, Nas and good ol’ Scott Storch helps him out with production.

I think that is the only thing that is going to keep him going.
