03 Tiburon body kits?

A friend of mine is saving up this summer for a kit for her car, ive only seen about 3 kits for her Tib. I was hoping u guys would know of some links or possibly post some pics with the make/model. Thanks :D

When you look at the Tiburon sidelong, the area between the glass and the wheel arches is to long and deep, which gives it that small wheeled economy car look even when its running decent rolling stock, IMHO, a kit that hieghtened the arches and pulled the skirting up from the ground would make this car much more pleasing to the eye..Maxt

The one on IA looks sooo clean, ya thats an awesome price too :D , that yellow one is fugly and way overpriced (1700 i think) ; its hard to find good looking kits for this car :dunno:

That kit is pretty decent :thumbsup: and $820 is cheaper than the IA kit, but its not a widebody :dunno: ive been all over the place and ive yet to find a site that can beat jason's prices

Here is a very clean kit IMO. http://www.concepto.co.kr/s1-front0.html . Its for the Tuscani edition of the Tiburon. Will this fit all models? Note the price though. 2,450,000 yen i think? Or in Korean money. I dont know the exchange so i can help you there.

Hyundai's reputation will take years to replenish... Plus the interior components still have a cheap feel too them.
Also, I just raced a brand new tiburon last night with an aluminum spoiler and beat it! It must of been the base 4cyl model, but still......the ouput on that engine must really suck. Or else he was a bad driver....my car only has 135hp at the crank and its 15 years old.

bitch, shut yo mouf, ill hurt you badly! haha; shes saving up for the 8pc widebody at importadrenelin.com, thats the cleanest looking kit plus thats a crayzay deal for a 8pc like that.

Also I think her parents are gonna get her some white rims for grad, which she is going to need if she gets the widebody (wider tires), if she has any cash left id say drop it with some eibachs, that would = the tightest cleanest tib around cowtown :thumbsup:

I cant seem to find the thread. There was a big discussion about it on the j-body forums a few months back, and its a legit kit, made by a US company down in the states.

Im pretty sure theres some heavy modifications done to it (i.e. wide body flares, and rear vents) but for the most part, Im thinkin at least the basic body kit should be available. I dont recall a name though.

I think if someone got the wide body, had it molded to the car, get it painted some exotic candy color, shaved all emblems and such, it'd kinda look like some upper end luxury car, or something... I saw the rear quarter of the car, and I automatically thought Audi for some reason.

cant be any less reliable than my cavalier! bwhahaha.. but then again, I havent had problems with it so far... 3 years to boot! the wide body kit for my car makes it look focus-ish.

I know theres a few tibs (97-99's) with body kits around town.. but I've only seen one 99 that looks kinda weird.. HUGE arp spoiler, neon underglow, some buncha stickers, and I think it might just be a valence kit or something... doesnt look very wild at all though.

oh! and I've also seen a korean fella drive a black one with blinky lights, and its got these THIK yellow racing stripes going down the middle... he's got a really loud muffler and drives like he's all hard down center street.

actually, come to think of it... I dont think I have... honestly, I dont think I've come accross many of the newer tibs at all. I've prolly only noticed maybe a red and a blue one.. Theres not alotta done up tibs around. They're there, just not widely known I guess.

heh! tell me bout it. I think its starting to become more and more of a mainstream thing for girls to do that. The car club Im in has a few in hopped up civics. I mean, they're nothing more than civics with body kits, rims and such, but hey, suit themselves. My buddy's neighbor just moved up here from Seattle, she owns a hopped up protege that looks like the evo from the new FATF believe it or not. heh!

:werd: that tib is hella loud, and its true, you can hear it all the way down center street.

anyways, the new tibs are tight. i've only seen like a blue one with minor cosmetics
