Great deal....My mk4 is a very good reliable car, and very safe. THey are just using those bodies, and making an affordable bare bones car for a good price.

They are really cheap cars...but then again they are very simple thats why the cost is so low!

I say buy a car 2-3 years older for the same price, that way you can have a engine to play with and an interior thats great!

its just so they can keep pushing cars until they can get the new tdi's here. its a great idea if you are in the market for a vw, too bad you only have one engine choice...

from a marketing point of view with the jaris and fit out there, it does make sence for them to to this even though the car is as basic as can get. no offence to anyone but i would rather drive a bare bones basic jetta than be seen in a jaris or echo...still bring on the Polo gti:D
