FS: PSP, will not play games properly, Cheappp

hey guys
i have a PSP and recently it hasent been able to play game
people at the Sony store said to just send it in.
but i dont have the time,
it will do everything else, like music and movies and such.
only thing it wont do is play games haha.
comes with a 512mb memory stick and comes with the original case

i can let it go for 100$ OBO
need it gone soon, thankss!

is the problem that it wont read the UMD disc?

i think so, thats what the sony people told me....but they were not to sure and said send it in and it can be checked out.

Great for use for emulators depending on the firmware. Little pricey though.

doesnt matter what the firmware is, as long as its 2.71 or lower you can use the firware downgrade or emulator. mine was a 2.5 and I upgraded to 2.71 and am using a 1.5 emulator. works great.

i'm interested ... so, the only thing it doesnt read are game discs right? or does it take like...15 reboots to read it? because to install any downgrade u need to read a game disc.... :( what kinda message does it give u when u insert a game umd?
