kind of getting off topic, but another good guy to watch play is Tony G, he talks so much smack and it works.

There's two schools of thought when it comes to talking smack at the poker table.

There's the Mike Matusow school. Which is talk a lot of shit, be obnoxious and annoy your opponents to the point they get mad at you and make a mistake trying to come after you.

Or...

The Negreanu school of talking smack which isn't necessarily talking smack, but he's nice enough about it that people don't mind giving chips to him. Again he sort of gets under their skin but in a much less aggressive and more friendly sort of way. Making it more covert.

I guess you can also include the Hellmuth-style of trash talking which essentially is just bitch until you're blue in the face.

I didnt think that was anything that special...

Heads Up Play... he has Q8 with JJ7 on board. Phil picked up on a tell that his opponent didnt have the Jack. Ivey had that guy on a pair of 7s at best since it was an unraised pot

He has 2 overcards (over the 7) and is trying to represent the trips or a pocket pair over 7s.

Besides he's got a massive stack and was able to afford to double up his opponent if he called and hit anyways. :burnout:
