Yeah i saw that too, what a mess I think, didn't seem real serious probably just slid right through the junction turn, still had the nice wheels on, maybe no winters yet...

it was just a joke at the expense of a VW based on yet another calgary accident.

I like VWs. Just not morons who can't drive them. Thing probably had summer tires on it.

there is also that joke:

friends don't let friends buy VW's

lol have to be a vw owner to get that one

my old 2000 gti vr6 with michelin alpins was the best car i have ever had for winter :D

brand new winters, heavy short /solid car, traction control = FTW :D

i find the mkv great in the winter so far. i got some all seasons on so it's not too bad.

was it this one by any chance?
apperantly it only slid into the ditch, while they were waiting to get it pulled out ... another guy flies into the ditch and smashes it

Lol. Poor bastard. I'll bet his insurance deductible/higher premiums will end up costing more than a new set of winter wheels/tires.:banghead:

that forum says the driver of that one is in sask, not alberta or calgary...

I think he meant the pathfinder driver is from sask, either way minor accident... Writtin off! haha, If he things that damage adds up to 75% of its value, he doesn't think its worth very much..
