I have a Corolla GTS and it seems the hub where it meets the axle is bent, so it makes terrible wobble.
So I call toyota and see about a new axle half-shaft, turns out they dont make them...So im sitting here wondering what the hell im going to do?

I was told i could get the hub and axle machined to fix the problem but im skeptical for some reason.

anyone know of anything I can do? Anyone have a half-shaft and hub for AE86? anyone think a machine shop will do it? anyone know which machine shop:nut:

PS this car is my DD and I want it back fast.

Thanks in advance.
Simon

The car is not drivable because well,
#1 the wheel wobbles
#2 The caliper is making this ENORMOUS gouge one the brand new rotors i just installed:eek:

Its now winter, I really want my car.
This seems like a bitch to fix
but if I sold it id get like 500$ the way it stands

Any metal machine shop should be able to do it. Just pay them some cash. All you have to ensure is that the tolerances on their tool is up to spec with whatever you need. That's what a friend and I did anyway when he needed his hubs machined. Good luck

How do I know what tolerances I need, I think ill just show up ith the part and point to it and "make it straight:whipped:"

Thanks though, I just wanted to know if a machine shop would do it.
