that was hilarious. i watched it last night on cbc. mercer is a funny dude. harper did a great job playing along, though i should mention that humor is not partisan

Hahaha! If there's one thing I can say about Canadian Prime Ministers, regardless of party, they generally have a good sense of humour. Even Chretien appeared on This Hour Has 22 Minutes and Air Farce. I doubt you'd ever see George Bush on a comedy show on a regular basis.

Yeah he'd be great on mad tv or snl, tripping over his tongue

It's a good move on prime ministers parts, to do this sort of thing.. A lot of people (seniors especially) watch air farce and the like, so it show's them as normal people, with a decent sense of humour, win people over.. My old grandmother didn't vote for harper on the plain fact she didn't like the way he looked

I saw paul martin with him at 24 sussex too. I think he went for a swim in the pool with martin or something like that.
