I've just received the MRI results from a lower back scan and I can't make any sense of them.

I'm trying to determine if going to a sports physio clinic to help strenghen my core muscles and stretch certain muscles will help with my lower back pain.

Currently, I can't put my shoes/socks on as I can't bend over, and I have a golf ball sized muscle knot in my left butt cheek.

My family doc is sending me to the orthopod...but that appointment is 10-12 months away and if possible, I would like to be able to work on some things myself. My goal is to be able to put my own underwear on instead of asking my wife to do it for me.

Let me know and I can send out the results.

Thanks
Pacman

I know with my MRI my doctor looked over it, and sent her findings to the physio to help them out. I'm sure your doctor is able to do the same.

PM returned.

Where did you have the MRI done? Did you get it done privately? I assume so since your are still in acute pain and already have the MRI results. You'd be waiting a few months for a publicly funded one these days...
