1981 VW rabbit pickup

1 of 1500 canadian diesel pick-ups with a rear slider window
white, 5spd no A/C or power anything.
originally a diesel, it was converted to a 1.8L gas by the previous owner.

**the body is in awesome shape, apart from rust in the strut tower, rain tray, and 'A' pillar you get with USA built VW trucks on the passenger side**

it has brand new KYB-GR2 front struts, with new upper strut mounts,
springs from an 88 cabriolet.
new pads and rotors
new tie rod ends and ball joints
1 new tie rod
new control arms and bushings
new brake shoes
new drums(not installed)
new brake cylinders
new brake lines for the rear
recent alignment
GTi leather steering wheel
14" steelies with all season rubber 185 60 with 70-80% tread left
euro front bumper
westmoreland grill with no breaks and all butterfly clips
monroe load leveller rear shocks
good windshield
scirocco sport seats with MK2 GTi fabric

comes with all parts extra that I had for it,
new rack
shift repair kit
scirocco shift lever
extra seat bottoms
fender
ect, ect,....

looking for $2000 with everything, price can diminish with the 14" steelies not sold with it.

it would be great for someone to fix her, I was gonna keep it and fix her but priorities have changed as of late.

if you are a body guy then this is right up your alley and would be a great fix.
the rust you see is the only rust on the entire vehicle oddly enough.
in no rush to sell, just typing for info and to keep it near page 1.
