That's pretty blatant, but you have to do what it takes to win elections, i guess. Also note the marked drop in the price of oil. We'll se it back to 60-70$ pretty quickly after the election.

^^And I'm sure that we all can't wait for our gas prices to jump .30 cents a liter back to over a dollar. Yes we all like getting raped at the gas pump prices.

Genius!! You know, I've heard that high energy prices can also affect prices of stuff like electricity, heating, groceries (and everything else you buy that gets shipped in on a truck including your gay diesel car).
Maybe someday you can retire early, due to that $100 a year you save on gas.

Thanks for demonstrating your superior knowledge of economics! Care to share anything else with us? Too bad we were only considering the affects of a higher price of fuel at the pumps and not all other macroeconomic consequences that would result from higher energy prices.
