I'm looking for a fisheye lens for my sony camcorder. i dont know if any one has any experience using or buying one, but i thought id give it a shot. im looking for the effect you see in most skate and snowboarding movies. i just want to know what the specifications should be on a decent fisheye. any help would be awsome!

It depends on how much you want the sides to bend. Best bet is to go somewhere like like Vistek or The Camera Store with your camera and try some out. You'll need to find one that fits your camera so you're not stuck using adapters. I find with a wide lense you usually get vignetting when adapters are used, although they can work.

I have a .42x fisheye that works well to distort the image, as well as some other lenses if you're interested in buying some stuff for your video camera.
All items have a 46mm mount:
- Kenko 0.42x wide angle (fish eye)
- Ambico 1.5x telephoto
- Ambico 0.5x wide angle (not a fish eye)
- UV filter + 81B filter (to slightly warm up the picture)
- Also have some Sony camera batteries.

PM me if you're interested.
