command start problems

can someone help?
or point me in the right direction?
i have an older command start unit.
model cs 1500
sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't plus the heater/blower does not activate until i put my key in the ignition when it does start. can anyone offer any suggestions?

Get it re-installed or get a different remote starter.

Whomever put it in, put it in wrong.
