so i was wondering...
i see alot of civics and integras get stolen.. common cars

but how often do 1991+ MR2's get stolen or broken into?
don't see to many people posting up about their mr2's being stolen..

i hope they are harder to steal and break into :)

any comments?

If someone wants your car, they are more than likely going to get it, regardless of what it is. The only ones harder to steal are alot of high end imports where you need the key or a tow truck to steal it. Anything 15+ years old is likely going to be a piece of cake to steal.

No demand for parts on these, they were made in such small numbers that if you were to steal it and either try to resell it or part it out, you would get busted pretty fast. On another note, the factory alarm is pretty decent, smash the windows or try to manipulate the lock and it sets off the alarm which prevents the car from starting.

What happens if you were to write something on a 1/4 panel though??

why is this a LHD question?

Another reason could be.
(1) they're not driven all year round
(2) most are probably garage parked
(3) the mr2 never leaves my sight ;)
