Mine is. 3G Civic with no backseat, basic 6 point cage, lightweight drivers seat, no music. The 4G is significantyl heavier I hear. I know of 3G Civic's that are around 1500-1600. Mine is lead.

My 84 VW Jetta was 960kg with full interior, dual 10" sub box, spare tire, and all sorts of other stuff. haha, we could pic the back end of the car up and move it around. :D

1989 Porsche 944 Turbo - 3200 lbs
1973 Porsche 914 w/widebody kit, 17 inch wheels (no motor or transmission) - 1400 lbs.

I weighed both cars at a scale where I work. A 1987 RX7 Turbo weighed in at around 3100 lbs. I figure the 914 should be close to 2000 lbs when an engine is stuffed into it.

Most of the weight of those vehicles is frame, driveline and suspension.

Weighed last night...1160KG or 2552 pounds. I'd like to get down into the high 2300's and I think it's possible without going too crazy. I was looking for an article a guy wrote about his MX-3 (I think, but can't remember) and all the little things he removed to drop about 200 pounds in the end....but I cant find it anymore. Anyone know the one I mean?

edit: 308 pounds shaved...damn
