With the prices they give you on the website, it's a nice deal...but do you really need a 32" LCD HDTV? If you're going to go, go big...the difference is much clearer on larger screens, like a 37".

looks like not a bad deal, the movies are just a garbage throw in, but for the tv and home theatre not a bad deal

Go to Costco and pick up a Viewsonic 37" for $999 and spend your $800 on some out of the box HT system.

i just bought that exact same home theatre in the box, i'm quite happy with it so far. i did look into that sony TV and I figured i wanted to go with something bigger, so I have been shopping around for a 37+ lcd.

btw, it's a single loading tray it would've been better if it wasn't.

But some people like their LCD TV's to have at least half decent black levels.

the main room in my condo isnt all that big so while ideally id like a 37" right now a 32" is perfect...i figure the 32" will make a good bedroom panel 2-3 years.

For me, I would pick up the SONY Grand Wega 46" (W/ATSC Tuner) with original stand $1499 in soundsaround or $1599 in Bestbuy.

It's a little small, even for a Condo. You should be able to find a 42" for under 2k, especially with all the Christmas sales coming.

totally agreed
i thought 37" for my 525sq ft. apartment was going to b a little big, but it was the perfect size, anythign less i would've cried
at costco south they put a 40" bravia right beside that viewsonic, i don't know how anyone would want to shell out 1k for that tv after seeing the bravia

Agreed. 32 is too small, IMO...even in a condo. I went from 30" to 40" and the difference was night and day. I'd blow the whole budget on the best TV you can get, and worry about the HTIAB later. It's a lot easier to add some HT stuff after the fact, than it is to take a huge loss upgrading to a bigger TV.
