His 10th Anniversary RX-7 is pretty quick. If you want to kill him in a race, go find a old Dodge Daytona, Eagle Talon, Plymouth Laser, or Mitsubishi Eclipse. Is that the factory turbo 4G63 motor DSM guys?:burnout:

hmmm icic, ya, i heard he has about 180hp, lil bish heh. the Talon i'm a lil leary about getting due to the all wheel drive/turbo, cause if it breaks, i'm f00ked, was lookin at the 1992 Tsi for sale, the teal one but i dunno, only 18 and if somethin worth 4g's breaks, i'm hooped. as for the Eclipse and laser, what years would be best? thanks for the help though man :) :)

listen to him, GOOOOOD choice if you want to beat him.

find a daytona with the intercooled 2.2 and do a couple mods, you will walk all over him.

if you want an intercooled car you will be looking for a 1987-1988 shelby Z 5 speed, or 89-91 shelby 5 speed with 2.2.

the 89-91 would be the recomended year.

try http://www.canadatrader.com and look for them, the intercooled 2.2 also found its way into the lebaron, and many other dodges, but the daytona is the most common intercooled car.

hmmmmmm icic, hehe yar, kinda attached. sides, this is already lowered and etc, saves some cash there, any idea one how i can get some basic turbo system to jack my power by like 20-30ish?

turbo could probly gain ya a good 50-60HP, or maybe a 50shot of N2O. (I dunno what a stock honda can take)

Eclipses/Lasers/Talons are all the EXACT same under the skin, only body parts are slightly different. FWD Talon/Laser/Eclipse would be a decent car to get, but they are pretty hard to come by.

a turbo daytona would be pretty potent, the later model, generally the better. I think 92 was a good year, but im not sure. Turbo daytonas arent my cup of tea :)

You could pick up a 3rd gen Camaro IROCZ or a foxbody mustang, and you'd run him in the straights, but as soon as it turned twisty, he'd catch up.

Insurance in any of these cars is BRUTAL tho.

a 93 wouldn't be a turbo unless it was the twin cam iroc RT, which aren't exactly common.

Go to a wrecker and find a car with an engine similar size to yours with a turbo that has an internal wastegate, buy it, rebuild it, and take to an exhaust shop to make the exhaust work. I have no idea what your compression is, so it'd probly be safe around 6psi without intercooling. Theres probly more to it than what im remembering.

Guess thats called a "junkyard" upgrade ;)
