die thieves! never leave things like that in plain view, why give them incentive to steal it

"What they can not see, they will not steal"

Pretty simple if you ask me. It sucks for your friend and I hope that he gets everything straightened out shortly.

I think most factory alarms go off when the door is opened but won't go if the windows are broken.

I've noticed that there seems to be a lot more break-ins lately. More people in Alberta = more crime I guess. That's why I stopped buying aftermarket car stereo.

As for the thieves, karma's a bitch. They'll get what's coming to them.

yea that is probably why the alarm didn't work :dunno:
he didn't have anything aftermarket, stock cd player..we still don'tk now why those fukers knew there was a ipod in the car because he hide both the charger andipod off everytime before he gets off the car

Dude, people will smash out a window for a dollar.
Factory alarms don't have shock sensors so they only sound when there's a 12 volt current draw. For example when the dome light comes on from the door being opened.

Not much you can do.

Nice car = Nice toys inside. Always prime targets. What time of day did that happen? He drive a TSX, does he have a garage for it?
