in the last month theres been two break in attempts on my car in my own driveway! good thing im a light sleeper and 12v put a really loud siren on for me lol.

the first was 2 am on a sunday night and the second i chased after them at 330 am on a friday night.
i tell ya man, its the best money i ever spent on my car. since i chased that kid it hasnt gone off again. im still paranoid though.

and i spend most of my time in silver springs, when i heard this im kinda nervous to leave my car out on the street.

im still up for some vigil ante justice if anyone else is lol:guns:

It does seem like its always the older civic's being stolen.
I have a question though, are the newer civics, 99-00 and the 01-up harder to steal then the 98's and down??
or are they the same thing because im starting to get worried for my car here....

and yes I do have a compustar but sometimes my pager doesnt go off due to the fact im too far.

my friend's 2000 civic was breaken into with a crowbar. i'm guessing they tried to pop the driver-side window out, but ended up just leaving the window popped out a bit and threw the crowbar under the car.

I think Honda's in general are the big targets for theives, regardless of how old they are. More people want to own Hondas, which mean more people need parts. The higher demand for parts kinda dictates what theives are going to go for. If there was a higher demand for other cars, I'm sure that's what theives would go for.

Thats pretty stupid that guys would get that brave and take your car with the police station right there god like a year ago my crx was sitting on the road just down the street from the cop station and they still broke in my ride. I hope they don't do a repeat and just take the whole thing but for sure if I here or see your ride man I will do anything I can too get it back for ya ???

damn was it insured you should get what you paid for back newayz, and yeah I'm in the nw I've never heard of cars getting stolen in the nw although i wish mine would sometimes excuse to get anew car through insurance(fully covered) and i get could a newer nicer one most likely too lol but meh shitty news man
