i bought that 46 inch a month ago at 1999...within 3 weeks it dropped to 1599, got my money back with the best buy protection....great tv so far...but anyone know why they are offering such a big price drop? something wrong with it?..perhaps because rear projections are on their way out since flat panels are getting cheaper and cheaper?

Hey man GL with the sale, however no need to talk bad about visions, i have spent about 8k there and have had nothing but good service.
As well you can get them to lower the price for a sale!

It is just a poor experience with Visions..............Bestbuy and Soundaround tells me the stand is included for free but Visions said it is not included and I have to pay $449 for it. If I didn't go to other places, I won't noticed........................

P.S. It is not my product, just wanna share the good deal and poor experience with Visions.

I and my relatives are not working with anyone of the companies and I am not even related to that field and work nature. Been to Visions couple times and charges are crazy........

E.g. remote keyless installation $100 in visions, can find $75 in bestbuy/futureshop, $50 somewhere else.

Watch out for the model number:

Soundsaround is selling KDFE55A20 for $1998 (older model), not eligible for free stand but others are selling KDF55E2000 (2006 model) with free stand.

Although they are 55", but have different features as ATSC tuner.

CHinook Sony store is selling the A20 for only $1798!

trust me Sony stands do not have as much markup as generic stands so the sony free stand is a decent deal if you like Sony product's. And no you cant get the 46" at $1250 because that would make the TV below cost.
