The parking lot of my building at work has an odd driveway. the curb isn't aligned with the road and the slope is slightly too far ahead of the main drive path. this is alright if no one has parked on the far right but if they have you need to get tricky in driving. I have scraped the bottom of the lancer a few times but the talon being lower caused a little more damage. I must have caught it on the corner of the curb (it kinda comes to a point due to the fact that there are two parking entrances side by side and instead of making one long slope they made 3 short ones).

Any chance this is easily fixed in the parking lot? Can I remove the driveshaft and drive it home? Any ideas on ways of driving it home? I would rather not tow it if I don't have to.

Towing the car would be the best option. Driving around with a damaged driveshaft will most likely result in consequential damage to the transmission.

Maybe you should post/link pics of the damage here in order to get detailed help.

Yeah all the info I have found leads me to the conclusion of towing it home. (it is a AWD talon - which I forgot to mention). there doesn't seem to be a way of rigging it that wouldn't cause greater damage.
