What would you rather drive?

a 92 integra gsr, very good condtion, new clutch and belts etc 210km for let say 6 grand

Or

A 96 integra gsr, very good condtion, well maintain, 210km for around 9 grand.

What would you rather own and drive? and why.

Thanks!

Yea the 96 has newish belts and clutch but burns a tiny bit of oil. I need something arond these price ranges because im buying a house, so this is what i got in mind so far.

i wouldnt buy either of them, they are both to high in kms imo and for 9 grand you could get something better

My Integra had somewhere around 250k when I sold it 3 years ago, and it ran like a champ. I never put a dollar into repairs but I maintained it well. If its in good condition you can expect to get a lot more life out of it.

Thanks, if you have any other susgestions for around the same price range and would be just as fun to drive (must be import) let hear it!

92 integra GS-R's are rare as FUCK. They produced fewer GS-R's than new Type-R's for the north american market.
Due to power and a super close transmission the old GS-R runs the quarter mile in 14.9 from the factory.

Go with the old style if it's in good condition.

I saw that 96 GSR here on beyond too. I'd make sure to test compression on any high km motor (unless you're planning to swap it out).

In general, cars with 200k will have considerable amounts of wear on other parts - interior, suspension, body etc. It might almost be disappointing for you since the SIR and GTI that you've owned have half the kms.

If I were you, I'd go for a newer car, not an older one. I wouldn't drive anything older than 1997.

Is badseed willing to go that low?

Is saving the $10k to get into an older, higher mileage car that may require additional maintenance really worth it? Just keep what you have.

96 - Definetly because of the new design, 3 grand isnt a huge jump for what you get in looks.

Just need to get out of my car payments thats why i need cheaper, trust me i love my gti. The 9 grand was just a ruff estimate, i have seen a few around that seems to be the common price.

I say buy a civic. Parts are cheap and plentiful. Engine swaps are easy and they have really good fuel economy and resale.

Gotta sher with passing on both that's just way too many kms for 9K if you ask me. Decent cars I sher but if go with a newer civ with less kms even if its not as nice of a car to start with.

You can get a better 94+ GSR with HALF that KMS for under $11k

Go with the DC :S, don't take my answer in consideration though because I'm biased.
