Hey, how's everyone doing?

I'm looking into purchasing an Accord Ex-L (2 or 4 door), 4 cylinder, with a manual tranny. Any ides on it?

Reliability issues. Does the 4 cylinder make it feel underpowered? I don't need rocket-like acceleration, but I don't need a 0 - 60 time of 10 seconds either.

I used to have a 99 Accord EX-L with the 5-speed. It was fantastic on gas and good enough on the highways. Its a good city car with adequate acceleration, but its no rocket.

I've driven these cars before. They're one of the better looking accords IMO, but the performance isn't particularly great, even with the 5 speed.

It's kind of an oddball car - didn't have a production run as long as most other Honda models so parts are more rare, aftermarket support is more rare, and in general it'd be a bit more expensive to maintain since used parts aren't easily sourced.

Go test one out. I think they are ok if you find Civic coupe being a bit small.

But nothing to write home about.
