Sorry don't know the brand. I had no issues with the cable.

This is also a Motorola not the Cogeco.

they're all motorola, cogeco is just the cable provider in the east. (Like shaw here)

Oh ok that sucks. I would be interested if you could come up with the brand name of that cable..if its something like monster than ill probaly pick it up.

i know that it's not a monster.... i paid like 50 bucks for it 2m long and has gold ends.

when it comes to digital cable, the brand doesnt mean anything, digital isn't like analouge where it has different qualities, with digital it either works, or it doesnt, the only exception being with longer cables.
