I want to sell it after winter, I got new plans...

What should i ask for it

Mitsubishi was not in Canada till 2003, so my car was not sold in Canada, which is alittle harder for me to get a pricetag on it..

2000 Eclipse GT
3.0L V6
50,500miles right now about 80,800km
Fully loaded with black leather... Everything exept heated seats...
4disk changer...

Its Tampa blue Pearl in color..

I imported it from California..
Would come with 17' rims and tires about 80% thread left

and new winter tires and steelies...

When I got it..

What should I ask for it when I put it up for sale??

I think 25 is way to high, as much as I'd love to sell it for that. I did see them going at the barlow dealership for 20 - 25 tho...

I was thinking maybe 17 - 18? Would I be off, to high or to low?

Did you check to see what similar ones are going for? Or looked at book value yet?

Start at 18-19k.. Then depending on the response you get, lower it... Try to remember, that people are never going to give you what you ask, so ask for more then you want, and go from there. Beyond is especially bad for this.

I'm not exactly certain what people who are saying 18-25k range are smoking, but it must be some good shit.

I'd say you could expect 11k-13k depending on how much the buyer wants it andt he condition. (of course you cna list it at whatever you want)

Btw, not certain about that Mitsui. not being in Canada - there are plenty of 2000-2001 eclipses for sale here.

Its a 6+ year old car that was probably around 30,000 brand new.. I would say around 10-13k if lucky

Let's be realistic here. 20k for an eclipse? Come on...thats 3 series range and no one is gonna takea an eclipse over a 3 series bmw. You can get a 2003 RSX for 20k.

I would say 12-14k would be an average price for these cars. It's just not easy to sell a mitsubishi, especially one that was never sold here.

ya, that would be wayyyyyyyyy to low, even look at vw gti's they still bring in alot of money, mk3 vr6 bring about 11-13 and mk4 1.8t from 15-25

so i would say start off around 19-20 and then just got lower if there arent many bites

Um how hard was it to do this :guns:

http://www.canadatrader.com/result/result.aspx?searchtype=adv&kw=&dp=&age=&kfr=1&kto=2000000&category=4000&mk=MITSUBISHI&md=ECLIPSE&yfr=2003&yto=2003&pfr=0&pto=9999999&postal=&distance=&city=&pro=AB&region=&type=province&dm=1&mph=false&rentalOnly=false&pricedOnly=false

It's not a 2000 but think about it. 3 years older, knock off a few thousand you'd have a realistic price.
