My laptop, (Compaq Presario 1500) has an irDA Fast Infrared port. I'm interested in using software to configure the port to be used by a universal remote (Logitech Harmony 550).
I've had a hell of a time trying to find any decent software that would allow me to do this.
Has anyone successfully used a universal remote to send commands to a laptop, using only the embedded irDA port in the computer? If so, what software and/or drivers are needed?
