View Full Version : Realtors: How do you look for lots?

I've been trying to figure out how to look for lots in and around Southern Alberta using mlxchange but i've had no luck. Does anyone know if im doing something wrong? I know its not an easy find but theres gotta be someone listing their lot or acreage or something on MLS...I just can't find out what criteria to input. Any suggestions?

Are you using the rural search template? Rural in and around Calgary is listed under the minicipal district (eg. M.D. Rockyview, Foothills M.D.)

I just tried that and came up with 0 results. Is there any criteria to set for looking at everything south of red deer without actually knowing the name of all the towns and cities?

i just used the Rural search template, under property class change it to Rural Land (default is Single Family).

I searched under areas:

Calgary 0046
Rural Foothills M.D. 9111
Rural Rockyview M.D. 9269

I came up with 169 results :thumbsup:

You could also possibly try using the "Search by map area" I am not too familiar with the rural stuff, I can navigate my way around well enough in the search, but I refer out the little bit of rural business that I see.

Thanks, I got the same results now too. I think I didn't change the default to Rural Land :)
