im going to paint my interior trim myself (vents, etc) , i was wondering what kind of paint to use. Im thinking normal spray paint will work but will it look cheap?? what about for teh dash and that shit ??

i used folia tec paint on mine came out good
i got mine from speedville

did you have to order it or did you go there and pick from a selection??? was it spray paint??

I used regular quick dry krylon, and I think it works well.

If you want the shiny glossy look, thats not the way to go,

but i wanted the dull natural paint look (painted it Grey, to match rest of my interior)

ok good cuz i bought a can of krylon aluminum colored paint this morning, i didnt want shiny and it didnt appear to be.

Sorry, I should quantify that statement a little I suppose.. If your interior is tan and you have sky blue and red vents, it looks sooooooo bad. On the other hand, if you have an all black interior and want to make a silver vent black to match the rest, then I suppose there's nothing wrong with that!
It's just that theres an awful lot of colorblind people out there :D

Be sure to get vinyl prep so the paint will stick. If you have used dash cleaners like armor all it will not stick. You can pick up vinyl prep cleaner at any craft shop.
