well some people have been bugging me for pictures or videos of our 2007 Lingenfelter Twin Turbo Z06 all i can give you is some pics... no videos yet... ill post more as the come in... we are told it should be done some time begining of December... And lingenfelter informs us that it will be the only Twin Turbo C6 Z06 from Lingenfelter in north america for a bit... there is one they are building along side of ours that belongs to some one over seas so it will be shipped out and lingenfelter them selfs are building up a 1200hp C6 Z06 but it wont be done for a bit... oh and it is the 800hp kit thats being put on ours... which might be tweeked a bit more with a boost controller ;) you never know..

Cool, but it won't be the only TT C6 ZO6 in town...... I know of another being built by a well known Corvette tuner in town...... This one's being built with the same turbo kit as the Lingenfelter cars.

damn that is nice... aha so there is competition :P ... i know the engine its self can hold the same power as the GT in the link but i think we would have to up grade to the GT30 56 trim turbos i think it is... the ones that come with it are good to about 900-950hp .. wouldnt mind seeing a race between the two at race city

i dont know the C6 Z06 has a pefect 50/50 weight distribution and has pretty damn good tracktion as it is... like obviously they are going to spin but not as much as you might think with this power level... that and drag raidals :P and the beefed up trany will help put more of that power to the wheels

yea i think i know the guy your talking about... and if it is i can gaurenty you it wont be putting out this power level.... the person im thinking isnt doing as close of a engine build up that lingenfelter does, i believe he is still using the stock 11:1 compression ratio :( but none the less will still put out some good numbers still

I don't think you do know the guy I'm referring to, as that sounds nothing like his planned build-up, he's going pretty extreme, but I won't get into details.

Regardless your ZO6 is gonna rock :thumbsup: and don't worry about "Joe's GT"............. You guys do realize that car is out of Florida.......

No that GT did run with an intercooler... they used the stock one from the s/c'er .. pretty slick way they used it too...

also nope our Z06 doesnt have a roll cage... so for race city as long as we keep it under the time (what ever it is) we will be fine... i think all my dad plans on doing it pining it hard off the line and going till just past the 1/8th mile and putting on the brakes...

you need a cage after 11.5

even at our elevation on street tires people have run high 11's on the stock z06.

you can always get 1 good run to see what its got before they kick you off :). Or brake at 1/8 mile like you said..

I didn't see an intercooler on those pics.....the pipes from the turbos to the throttle body were about 8" lol.

i watched one video on it and they used the stock intercooler plate just instead of under the s/c'er its under the throttle body / plenum (sp?) and its just a liquid to air head exchanger they use so that they have no real charge pipes...

yea at the end of the season he said he might goo all out on it... we will see ...

The car is sick. Very nice.
The cage thing hasn't been enforced yet this year as far as I'm aware. Sean ran under 11.5 with his srt at 2 tracks, and I don't remember any cage. Also, SCC had more than 1 car under 11.5 with no cage, never heard boo.

the tranny is being upgraded a bit.. he got a Exedy Twin Disc Clutch and fly wheel kit...

Nope... this one never even came to calgary... we ordered it from Shaganapi and my dad had a business meeting in ontario the same week it came into canada and so he just picked it up from there and drove it right to Lingenfelter where it has been for the last 10 weeks now
