Making a Pro duo work on a Duo drive

Hey guys.
If anybody can recall sony's mini memory card the DUO which was much before the Pro Duo we are all familar with. Well anyways they both visually look the same except that the DUO lacked the compression technology used on the Pro.

What I'm wondering is if there is anyway to make a Pro Duo stick into a Duo. Why? I have a Duo drive player and it will refuse the Pro Duo stick. Why not get a Duo stick? Because they max out at 128 Mb and I already have a 1 gb Pro.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No Dice bud... I've had lots of people try, it's just because your
Duo-only drive is going to be "inferior". Sony's smart like that.
Make you spend more money.

I've had people come in that said they took their Duo-only
mp3 players apart, tried hacking etc etc. Didn't work.
