If you try to buy a new turbo from the dealer it's going to cost you a lot of greenbacks $$. :nut: Better off spending the money on an upgrade, or try and find a reliable used turbo. :dunno:

My friend has a 97 Talon Tsi. He thinks that his turbo is blown. Is the turbo that you have, the same as his? How much do you want to sell it for? Also, can anyone recommend a shop for him to get this installed?

I would recommend the big16G very nice turbo have the wheel clipped. It is the turbo for a nice mild upgrade. Nice response and fun to drive. Have him message me I can get good pricing on them.

If you have to buy one, go to the new Hyatt Mitsubishi in the Automall. The Parts desk is temporarily located inside the Hyatt Infinity building. Tell them you need a T25 from a '95-99 Eclipse turbo (doesn't matter if it's GS-T or GSX). Also mention you're part of the Mitsubishi club to get a discount. I'm sure it's still going to cost you well over $1000 though! :banghead: :banghead:

Damn people. Go with a T-28 if you want an upgrade (from Forced Performance). It's a direct bolt-on, capable of 16G type performance. If you don't want to do the fuel, exhaust, etc. upgrades right away leave it at stock boost and don't worry about it.
A new T-25 is upwards of $1200, if you're somewhat mechanically enclined and want to do this cheaply then get a used but in good shape 14B (about $300) and the water/oil lines for it. You can get away with an upgraded turbo for under $500. Properly setup it'll run 12s.
