yah i was in lethbridge for 2 years, the one thing the city needs like a motherfucker is a motorsports park, im sorry but the exhibition park just doesnt cut it anymore. with all the jdm imports coming into the city, the streetwheelers muscle cars that show up in the summer and other enthusiasts, people need a place to go and do there 1/4 mile runs, a autoX course and some big flat bit of pavement for guys like canadianskyline to get his shit on (i saw you at SCC a couple months ago, good shit, the smell of burning rubber warmed us up during that lethbridge wind you brought with you, lol)

needless to say, people shouldnt have to go all the way to calgary for there motorsports needs. ive heard more serious talk about BROOKS getting a speedway before lethbridge, WTF, (I sure wouldve enjoyed that over summer 06) the brooks raceway it scheduled to be built by next fall/spring 08. lethbridge is a great city, the wind actually calms the hell down in the summer, they just need more things for people to do, i was in studies over summer 2005, and it got boring quick cause there simply wasnt enough to do, 135 k on scenic drive at 1 am begins to wear out or the 4k turbo auto pulls on mayor magrath. the city is great, smaller pace and the roads are in better states then SE calgary.

i say someone still down there needs to seriously push for a raceway in lethbridge, theres no shortage of room, holding everything at the exhibition park is retarded and forcing everyone who wants a real raceway to go to calgary or medicine hat is pointless and just takes away from the city.

There is a shortage of money and manpower....car club has been talking about it for years. No one is willing to put some work into it. Everyone just talks about wanting one like you.

great city....but I had to get out. Family problems and more opportunities up here.

No ones forcing people to go to Medicine Hat or Calgary...its your choice to go racing or not. You want a track in Lethbridge....join the car club and help build it.
