Hey people out there, I am new to this stuff so be gentle on this old man. Purchased a 1996 ford exploder it has a command start
model #cs-555 in it. You go to start the thing and it keeps turning the starter over then shuts off. Whats up with that?? here are the numbers on the fob: fcc id no:g2jcs306tx, canada1411 101 649 ic:rss/cnr 210. so if anyone can help that would be very cool? Thanks all. :)

Hi,
The CS555 is the transmitter number. For the right programming guide you will need to get the model number off the unit.
As for starter dragging, check under the hood at the coil pack. There should be a white wire from the Command Start that ties in there. Make sure the connection is good. I have seen guys use a "T' tap and a connector that sometimes does not make a good connection. If it has a connector on it remove the connector and solder the wire connection. Try the remote starter and let us know how it works.
