So is that front wheel drive ? I might be really dumb but that looks like a V8 , and not anything like a porshe engine. Unless they used a northstar tranny or something would'nt that mean it would have to be FWD ?
I'm going to stop talking in case I am so far off someone needs to kick me in the nuts!

huh, yeah it looks like it could be fwd. The engine is sitting right on the rear axle pretty much

It uses the stock tranny, and it's RWD. The engine is sitting exactly where it should be.

huh, weird looks like it would be too far forward. But hey if he can stuff that kind of torque into that small a car then he gets a big

kinda lame IMO, but its not really a bad idea for power. I think it might throw the handleing out of wack though. Probably some mad understeer! But not much room for the tranny.

Super looking car. I have a V8 911 also and was wonder where did you get the carb bonnet with the flex hose? I want to go without the spoiler and your setup is needed to do it. Also do you have pics or templates of the shroud? If you choose to reply do so at [email protected].

LOL!!! NOOBS!!! Well, when it comes to Porsches at least. let me explain a couple things the real basic ones... Okay, you have Front engine, Mid engine, and Rear engine porsches. A front engine would be a 924,928,944,968. A Mid engine would be that ugly 914 the boxy one, the motor is placed more towards the middle of the car, ie between the front and rear axles. The 911 is a rear motor. Now, what's that mean? The motor is in THE VERY BACK!!!! the transaxle stickes out towards the middle of the car, real weird looking if you ask me but it gets the job done alright.

People just would not do this conversion if it was simply FWD.

www.renegadehybrids.com is where it's at.

the 911 is already pretty lame at handling. Besides, the motor adds something like 50 pounds to the rear or something like that, not too much.

Simply because it's a mustang ;-)

Porsche 911 or Ford Mustang? Hmm... I'm a white guy and usually only mexicans drive mustangs around here, i'll be sticking with a porsche. Just need to stick in that LT1 and i'm good to go.
