I've done it but not in Alberta. Basically if you can't stand the temperature on the ground in a t-shirt, you're not going to be able to stand the temperature at 3500 feet with 10 sweaters. Don't even try unless it's warm out, I was freezing.

My brother and I went out by Balzaac beginning of September for a jump. It was still super nice weather out and I jumped in a Hoody. I'd recommend wait until the summer.

Although it was a blast, a 10 second blast at that, I cant really justify spending $270 on another jump, though it is something a guy should check out for the first time.

:werd:

I went last summer in Vancouver, I was extremely disappointed, everyone I knew who jumped before said how "it was the best experience ever" etc. etc.

It was fun, but not THAT fun. I can think of 100 other things I'd rather spend the $250 on.

Your first jump was $270 because of all the instruction. Subsequent jumps won't cost nearly as much.

You guys got jacked. My 6 hour lesson and first jump were $140 and every jump after that was $40.

I know a couple of people who have gone sky diving and loved it. I think once summer rolls around a small group of us are going to head up and give it a try
