Dry and Itchy

Anyone else find when it gets super cold like this their skin gets dry and very itchy?

Always happens to me with the first cold snap of the year and I hate it cause my face ends up feeling like it's peeling off. Any suggestions?

I always moisturize after I get out of the shower but still doesn't seem to help very much.

Drink lots of water. Makes a big difference. Also you might want to change your facial moisturizer, use something a little thicker, good ones to try are ponds or aveeno. Winter will tend to dry out your skin. Try those two things out and hopefully it helps.

check the filter in your humidifier.
sounds weird but i used to get dry after showers then i changed that and i was alright.

Install a water softener.

I went out and bought a portable humidifer and put it on low in my room at night. Keeps the humidity levels around 45-50% and I find it helps greatly.

I got this one, it just happens to be on sale right now as well.
