why did you have to go through every menu everytime you selected some character...that was PAINFUL to watch

I think it was so that if someone wanted to copy the character they could pause on each screen to recreate him/her.

Someone brought their Wii into work yesterday and I watched one of the guys create Micheal Jackson, it was hilarious.
