too much humidity and not enough heat. The BMW turns on the AC... weird...

hmm i always drive with my rear defroster on, and always have my heat to floor and defrost on full blast

take the heat off the floor, leave it full defrost, crack your driver's side window a bit, wait until the frost goes away, then do up your driver's side window, then make the transition to floor heat

i have bad window seals all around my winter car, that's what i have to do until the car is warm inside, and letting it idle while doing this won't do it, let it warm up a min or two then start driving to get some heat

should work, does for me!

another thing to check is if the heater is on recirculate cause if it is all that snow that is melting off of your shoes is creating humidity and then it is freezing to the glass so in the winter always have it on fresh air or your windows will freeze up

I once made the mistake of not clearing the snow out from the air intake behind the hood. I turned the fan on, and it blew snow all over the inside of my car  . That frosted up pretty good.

My car has a serious problem with my windows frosting up as soon as I enter the parkade at work after driving in the cold. So bad infact that I have to drive hanging out the window to navigate to a parking spot.

As was said above, frost = condensatoin. Full heat with the A/C button on, as well as recirculation off is the best way to get the humidity out. My dad also uses this stuff that you can put on the windows to prevent them from fogging up. I suggest you go to CT, and find it. I haven't tried it, but it works well for him.

I was leaving work last night after warming the car for 10 minutes. As soon as I got on deerfoot, all my windows fogged up from the inside. I was driving down deerfoot looking through a little hole i was able to scrape off because the fog turned into ice lol. That was some scary shit. I had it on fresh air the whole time.

If you start using rainX or something of the like, you should keep using it.. So, says the truckers I know who use it..
